Request Quote →MIOR wheelchair ramps start from approximately €800-€1,200 for a standard 2-meter roll-up ramp (ROLL model). Foldable models (FOLD) cost €900-€1,400 depending on length. Fixed vehicle ramps (DRIVE) range between €1,500-€2,500. Exact prices depend on length, width, and configuration. Use our ramp calculator for an immediate price indication. Note: Series production starts in 2026, reservations are now possible.
The required length depends on threshold height and desired slope angle. Accessibility guidelines recommend a slope of 1:12 (for every cm of height, you need 12 cm of length). Example: for a 30 cm threshold, you need a ramp of at least 360 cm. For shorter distances, steeper slopes up to 1:8 are acceptable. Use our WEXAR app or ramp calculator to automatically calculate the ideal length based on your specific situation.
Yes! The MIOR ROLL roll-up wheelchair ramp is specially designed for use without drilling, screws, or permanent attachment. Perfect for rental properties, historic buildings, or temporary solutions. The ramp remains stable through its own weight (8.2 kg/m) and anti-slip profile. For ramps longer than 220 cm, we recommend optional support legs for extra stability. Both FOLD and ROLL models are suitable for use without fixed mounting.
Roll-up wheelchair ramps (MIOR ROLL) roll up vertically like a mat, ideal for longer lengths and compact storage. They're flexible and adapt to uneven surfaces. Foldable wheelchair ramps (MIOR FOLD) fold in the middle and are stiffer, perfect for frequent transport in vehicles. ROLL is better for fixed locations (homes, shops), FOLD is better for mobile use (caregivers, taxis). Both have 400 kg load capacity and are suitable for electric wheelchairs.
Yes, all MIOR wheelchair ramps have a 400 kg load capacity and are designed for electric wheelchairs, heavy mobility scooters, and manual wheelchairs. The 6082-T6 aluminum frame is certified according to EN 1991-1-1 load standards. The anti-slip surface and 8 cm side edges ensure safe passage, even in wet weather. For extra heavy applications (600+ kg), the DRIVE model offers an optional reinforced configuration.
Yes. MIOR wheelchair ramps are made from marine-grade 6082-T6 aluminum with corrosion-resistant treatment, specifically designed for year-round outdoor use. The material is resistant to rain, snow, frost, and even salty coastal environments. The anti-slip surface remains effective in wet weather. For optimal lifespan, we recommend cleaning 2x annually with water and mild soap. Aluminum doesn't rust and maintains structural strength at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.
ROLL and FOLD models require NO installation - simply roll out or unfold and use. Installation literally takes seconds. For the DRIVE vehicle model, we recommend professional installation as it's permanently attached to vehicle floor rails. CUSTOM modular systems are always installed by certified MIOR installers. For standard wheelchair ramps, no tools or technical knowledge is required.
All MIOR wheelchair ramps come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty on material and construction defects. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, weld seam cracks, and structural defects under normal use. Normal wear and tear, misuse (overloading, false use), cosmetic damage, or incorrect installation are not covered. After the warranty period, we offer maintenance and repair service at cost price. Spare parts are available for at least 10 years after purchase.
MIOR wheelchair ramps can be ordered directly via our website mioramps.nl. We deliver throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Free delivery from €500 in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, wheelchair ramps may be reimbursed via the Social Support Act (Wmo) at your municipality if they're necessary for accessibility of your home. Health insurers usually don't reimburse wheelchair ramps unless medically prescribed as an aid. For work-related accessibility, UWV may grant subsidies. We always recommend first contacting your municipality or care advisor. MIOR can provide official quotes and technical specifications required for subsidy applications.
